【小旅行紀】貴志川線　駅長ニタマに会いに行く旅　／　A trip to meet Kishigawa Line Station Head Nitama

この数日実家の方に帰るという名の小旅行に行ってきましたので紹介していきます。まずは貴志川線の名物駅長ニタマについて。

有名なので説明不用かもしれませんが少し書いておきます。貴志川線とは和歌山駅から貴志駅を繋ぐローカル路線です（wikipedia参照）。片道３０分ほどの路線で、線路は単線・車両は２両編成のワンマン運行になっています。車両には「いちご電車」「おもちゃ電車」などのデコレーションがされています。

I’ve been on vacation for the past few days and I’m going to introduce it. First of all, about the specialty station head Nitama of Kishikawa Line.

As it is famous, it may be useless explanation, but writes a little. The Kishigawa Line is a local route connecting Kishi Station from Wakayama Station (see wikipedia). A 30-minute one-way route, the track is a single-track, one-man train with a two-car train. The vehicle is decorated with “Ichigo Train”, “Toy Train”, etc.

田舎の景色を楽しみながら終点貴志駅に到着すると駅長ニタマが歓迎？してくれます。駅舎は専用のネコ型をしてます。駅構内にはお土産屋や喫茶店もあり田舎の終点にしては大規模です。

When you arrive at the end station Kishi station while enjoying the scenery of the countryside, the station head Nitama is welcome? Will you? The station is in the form of a dedicated cat. There are a souvenir shop and a coffee shop in the station yard, which is a large-scale end point of the country.

途中の伊太祈曽（いだきそ）駅には駅長よんたまが眠ったまま迎えてくれました。滞在中はずっと寝てましたｗ

和歌山駅貴志川線プラットフォームには名所案内が掲示されていました。どの掲示にもスーパー駅長たまのイラストが描かれており、愛されていることがわかりますね。たまカワイイ。

Tourist attraction information was posted on Wakayama Station Koshigawa Line platform. The super station head illustrations are drawn on every post, and you can see that they are loved. Tama cute.

余談：ローカル線にも波及する萌え文化　／　Aside: Moe culture that spreads to local lines

伊太祈曽駅ホームで見つけた定期券のポスター？には萌え系のイラストが使われていました。また「全国鉄道むすめめぐり」（公式ページ）のポスターとスタンプが設置されていました。ローカル路線の時代に合わせた集客への取り組みみたいですね。

A poster(?) for the commuter pass that I found at Itakiso Station Home Moe-style illustrations were used for. In addition, posters and stamps of “National Railway Mushime Meguri” (official page) were installed. It looks like it’s an effort to attract customers according to the age of local routes.
