VR-CAR体験やってきました　／I did a VR-CAR experience

愛知県刈谷市のローカルネタになります。

It becomes local localization of Kariya-city, Aichi prefecture.

刈谷市の観光案内所にて無料で体験ができるVR-CARに乗りに行ってきました。

これは、VRによる刈谷市の観光映像・音声と電気自動車(DENSO製のコムス）による振動を連動させたシステムで、臨場感のある観光案内ができるようになっています。

This is a system linking the sightseeing video / sound of Kariya city by VR with the vibration by the electric car (Coms made by DENSO), so that tourist information with a sense of presence is made possible.

説明５分＋体験５分程度の短時間で体験できました。観光案内用の空飛ぶ装置に入っているという設定で、刈谷市の名所や名物を見て回るという内容でした。交通児童遊園に設置されている蒸気機関車やカキツバタ群落地（国指定の天然記念物だそうです）を見に行ったり、刈谷アニメcollectionと万燈祭といったイベントの様子を見る事が出来ます。映像はドローンで撮影したそうです。

I was able to experience in 5 minutes plus 5 minutes of experience in a short time. It was the content that it goes around seeing the sights and specialties of Kariya city by the setting that it is in the flying device for sightseeing guide. You can go to see a steam locomotive installed in a transportation children’s park and a community of rhododendrons (it seems that it is a national treasure designated as a country), and you can see the state of the events such as the Kariyan animation collection and the Lantern festival. It is said that the picture was taken with a drone.

VRと振動による臨場感のある体験は面白かったですが、VRに慣れていない人の場合は気分が悪くなるかもしれないと感じました。私はVRでゲームをプレイするので慣れていますが、それでも少し怖かったですね。

The experiences with realism due to VR and vibration were fun, but I felt that if you are not used to VR you may feel sick. I am used to playing games with VR, but I was a little scared.

VR-CARは３月までやっているので、興味のある方は体験してみてはいかがでしょうか。
