７月末頃から読んできたマンガ→おススメ作品の紹介その３　MF GHOST 6巻です。

６巻では公道レースMFGの第２戦「芦ノ湖GT」の予選終了～本線開始が収録されています。実際の公道を舞台にしているので、付近にお住まいの方や縁のある方は見知った場所が作中で登場するのを楽しめたりしそうです。自動車レースの作品なのに江ノ島電鉄が描かれたり。この辺は作者さんの趣味ですかね。

Manga read from the end of July → Introduction of recommended works # 3 MF GHOST Volume 6.

Volume 6 contains the end of qualifying and the start of the main line of the second round of public road race MFG “Ashinoko GT”. Since it is set on an actual public road, people who live in the vicinity or those who have ties seem to be able to enjoy the places they know in the works. Enoshima Electric Railway is drawn even though it is a car race work. Is this neighborhood a hobby of the author?

自動車レースと関係が無いポイントその２。主人公片桐カナタはイギリスの出身ということで日本の食に疎いです。というわけで日本の美食がグルメ系マンガのように登場。６巻では「小田原の天丼」「江ノ島の生しらす丼」を味わいます。これも実際のご当地グルメなのかな。

Point 2 that has nothing to do with car racing. The main character Katagiri Kanata is not good at Japanese food because he is from England. That’s why Japanese gastronomy appears like gourmet manga. In Volume 6, you can taste “Odawara Tengu” and “Enoshima Noodles”. I wonder if this is also an actual gourmet.

自動車レースに関係のあるポイント。第２戦「芦ノ湖GP」は雨の中のレース。姿勢制御系の電子装置を搭載していない（機能をOFFにしている）かつFR駆動のハチロクだと不利なのでは？という展開で「雨は味方」と言う一コマ。「路面状況が悪くなると車輌性能よりもドライバーの腕の差がレースに影響する」という意味かな？　これは頭文字Dでも同じような話が有ったなーという感想です。

Points related to car racing. Round 2 “Ashinoko GP” is a race in the rain. Isn’t it disadvantageous if you don’t have an attitude control system electronic device (the function is turned off) and you’re using FR drive? That is one frame that says “rain is on your side”. Does it mean that when the road surface gets worse, the difference in the driver’s arms affects the race rather than the vehicle performance? This is the impression that there was a similar story with the initial D.

頭文字Dを思い出すシーンその２。レース中のとある追い越しシーンです。S字コーナーの入りで外側から追い越しをかけ、次のコーナーで内側から抜いていくという頭文字Dで「カウンターアタック」と呼んでいた追い越しです。実際のレース技術としてどうなのかは詳しくないですが懐かしいなーというポイント。実際の公道では危険なので無理な追い越しは止めましょうｗ

Scene 2 that reminds me of the initial D. It is a certain overtaking scene during the race. This is the overtaking that was called “Counter Attack” with the initial D, where the S-shaped corner is overtaken from the outside and the next corner is pulled out from the inside. The point is that I am not familiar with the actual race technique but I am nostalgic. Let’s stop overtaking because it is dangerous on actual public roads
